"What's The Rush?" was the first ever project I worked on with Joey. He was looking for an artist would could understand who he was and his poetry, and turn that into art that his readers could relate to. I was up for the challenge!
I sent him initial sketches of my ideas to make sure I was the right one for the job and once those were approved I was given the creative freedom to illustrate whatever I thought would represent his poems.
We ended up using 40+ of my gestural illustrations in the book, and I was also asked to create the cover. I brought Joey's idea to life and helped him format the cover for printing. Many other projects came after the books release such as an audio book cover and a lyric video for a song based on the book.

DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
For International Women's Day 2023, Baker Tilly GWD wanted to create a special and meaningful gesture for the women in their Guelph office. They envisioned a beautiful and empowering gift that would inspire each woman and acknowledge the significance of this important day.
To bring this idea to life, I utilized my design skills and Adobe Illustrator to create three unique cards designs. Each card features an empowering quote and original abstract illustrations that capture the spirit of International Women's Day.
Careful consideration was given to the legibility of the design when printed at a small scale, ensuring that the final product would be both beautiful and easily readable.
After printing a proof, I made necessary adjustments to the design. I then expertly cut, hole-punched, and rounded the edges of each card, resulting in a final product that was ready to be attached to a flower.
